Introduction

Thank you for participating in The IIA's first annual Risk in Focus Global Survey.

The Risk in Focus model was developed by the European Institutes Research Group, with the support of the European Confederation of Institutes of Internal Auditing (ECIIA) and has enjoyed great success. The IIA is now expanding the project worldwide.

This leading annual poll of chief audit executives seeks to identify the top 5 risks organizations face in the year ahead as they prepare their audit plans. The results help chief audit executives like you to understand how your peers respond to today's risk landscape.

This survey is intended for chief audit executives or most senior internal auditors representing the organization’s views. The questions will take less than 5 minutes to complete. The confidentiality of all participants will be secured. All data will be collected, processed, and handled according to the terms of The IIA’s privacy policy and will only be reported in aggregate. The IIA will use results to produce reports for internal audit professionals.

Your participation will help ensure that perspectives from all types of organizations are represented. Reports will be provided separately for each region.
